Why we built Valify
Valify grew from informal conversations about the work involved in reviewing RAMS. Those conversations informed the founder story; they are not published research or measured Valify customer results.
Reviewers described documents arriving alongside other project responsibilities, with repeated site details, generic controls and inconsistencies needing careful attention. These observations shaped the product, rather than establishing a figure for the industry.
Valify was built to support a structured first pass. It puts potential concerns, section references and explanations in front of the person doing the review. That person checks the findings against the original RAMS and the actual work. Valify flags. A competent person decides.
What we believe
Safety-critical work is a bad place to be vague about what software is for. These are the positions Valify is built on, and the ones we would defend if the product ever pulled against them.
A machine should read. A person should decide.
Valify provides a structured first pass and flags potential concerns for review. AI can miss issues or raise incorrect flags. A competent person checks the original document and the actual site, then decides whether the controls and method are suitable.
Being wrong loudly beats being wrong quietly.
Valify raises things it is not certain about, because a flag your reviewer dismisses in ten seconds costs almost nothing and a gap nobody saw can cost a great deal. Every flag carries the section it came from and the reasoning behind it, so it can be checked rather than taken on trust.
Confidence has to be earned by showing the work.
An AI tool that hands back a score and no reasoning asks to be believed. We would rather be checked. If Valify cannot point to where in the document a finding came from and why it matters, that finding has no business being in the report.
Accountability cannot be automated.
When something goes wrong on a site, the question is who reviewed the document and what they concluded. That answer has to be a person with the competence to stand behind it. No product decision we make will ever blur that line to look more capable than we are.
Our commitment
Three things we will not trade away, written down here so you can hold us to them.
Valify flags for human review. It does not replace it.
Every issue Valify raises is a potential concern for your qualified health and safety personnel to consider. It is a first read, not a verdict, and it is designed to hand your reviewer a shorter, better-organised job — never to take the job off them.
Documents are never kept beyond 90 days.
Documents and reports are retained for 90 days from upload and are then permanently deleted. Customers can request or perform earlier deletion where available.
Valify will never claim to certify or approve a document.
No Valify report constitutes a compliance certification, a professional safety assessment or a sign-off of any kind. Accepting a document in Valify records your own decision. That line is deliberate, and we will not move it because it would make the product easier to sell.

The Valify team is based in Manchester, UK. We work directly with construction health and safety teams across the industry, and Valify is built around a single goal: helping your team organise potential concerns while keeping the judgement calls in your hands. That means a product that is fast, specific, and honest about what it does not know — and a team that reads and answers every enquiry itself.

We don't publish customer counts we can't stand behind, invented testimonials, or percentage improvements pulled out of the air. We do not claim a guaranteed time saving. The best way to judge whether Valify is worth your team's time is to run it against your own documents and read what comes back.
Valify is built on leading AI models — currently Anthropic's Claude, accessed via OpenRouter — used to help identify potential concerns in dense, technical documents. Model outputs can be wrong or incomplete and need checking by a competent person.
