There is no separate trial to start. Creating an account starts it: every new account begins with three free document scans and no payment details are collected at sign-up.
What the trial includes
- Three full document scans — the same analysis a paid plan receives, not a cut-down version.
- The complete report, with every finding ranked by severity.
- Your document history, so you can return to a report later.
- A watermark on trial reports, which is removed on any paid plan.
The three scans do not expire on a date and they do not reset monthly. They are three scans, and they last until you use them.
One trial per company
The trial is one per company rather than one per person, so a second sign-up from the same organisation continues on the same allowance rather than starting a fresh three. If your team needs more than three documents reviewed before deciding, contact us — we would rather extend a trial than have you evaluate on the wrong document.
When the three scans are used
Your account pauses and you are prompted to choose a plan. Nothing is deleted and nothing is charged automatically: your existing reports stay available, and you can read them and export them as normal. Only new scans are blocked. Upgrading from trial to a paid plan takes a couple of minutes.
Making the three count
Upload real documents rather than your best one. The trial tells you most when it reads something you were unsure about — a subcontractor's submission, a document that came back from a principal contractor, or the RAMS for an unusual activity. If you want a sense of what a strong document looks like first, before and after examples shows the same sections written well and badly.
